Mohsin Naqvi Meets FBI Director to Strengthen Security Cooperation

Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently met with FBI Director Kash Patel in Washington, D.C. The two leaders discussed ways to improve cooperation between Pakistan and the United States on important security issues.

Their talks focused on illegal immigration, counter-terrorism efforts, and exchange programs for police officers. Naqvi praised Patel for his professionalism and called the partnership beneficial for both countries. On social media, Naqvi said, “Had an excellent meeting with FBI Director Kash Patel. We discussed cooperation on illegal immigration, counter-terrorism, and officer exchange programs. His professionalism and vision make him a great partner to work with.”

Naqvi is part of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s delegation visiting the U.S. During the visit, the Prime Minister met with American leaders to discuss regional security, economic relations, and other important issues.

At the United Nations General Assembly, Prime Minister Sharif spoke about regional peace and justice. He said Pakistan offered India an impartial investigation into the Pahalgam attack, but India refused and violated Pakistan’s sovereignty. Sharif also mentioned former U.S. President Donald Trump’s role in helping Pakistan and India agree to a ceasefire, even nominating Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Sharif also called for urgent action to help Palestine, saying it must be freed from Israeli control.

Highlighting Pakistan’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, he said nearly 90,000 people had died. The Prime Minister promised to continue fighting banned groups like the TTP and BLA until all terrorists are eliminated.

“The fight will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated,” he said, showing Pakistan’s strong commitment to ending extremism.
