Pakistan Army’s Swift Response Saves Injured Children After Bajaur Blast
Bajaur: A tragic explosion occurred in the Laghrai area of Bajaur on September 27, when children accidentally triggered an explosive device left behind by terrorists.
According to reports, three children were martyred and five others injured while playing with explosive material planted by the outlawed terrorist group Khawarij.
Soon after the blast, Pakistan Army acted quickly, airlifting the injured children via helicopter to CMH Peshawar, where they are being treated under the supervision of expert military doctors.
Police and security agencies cordoned off the area and collected evidence from the site. The incident highlights how terrorist elements like Khawarij have left hidden explosive traps in civilian areas, posing a severe threat to innocent lives.
Officials noted that similar incidents occurred in the Tirah Valley, where stored explosives by militants caused the deaths of civilians and terrorists alike.
The explosion is yet another reminder that Khawarij militants continue to use civilian populations as shields and plant explosives in populated areas.
The Pakistan Army, with the support of local communities, remains committed to clearing Bajaur of all explosive devices and eliminating terrorist threats.
Security forces have vowed to make Bajaur safe and secure, ensuring no further loss of innocent lives due to such cowardly acts.
