Security Forces Operation in Khuzdar, Neutralizes 7 Fitna-al-Hindustan Militants

Khuzdar: Security forces have started an operation against the militant group Fitna al‑Hindustan in the mountainous area of Zhari, local sources say. Intelligence reports had indicated the group’s presence in the hills, and militants were also harassing local residents.

According to security officials, both ground forces and helicopters are involved in the operation. So far, seven militants have been killed and around ten wounded. Weapons, hand grenades, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and motorcycles have been seized. Among the recovered items are transmitters, U.S.-made automatic weapons, and ammunition. A large IED placed on the Budokasht bridge was also disabled.

Officials say the operation aims to curb the rising militancy in the area by targeting militant hideouts and infrastructure.
