Pakistani leaders Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir have fully supported US President Donald Trump’s proposed peace plan to end the conflict in Gaza. Trump thanked them for their backing as he announced that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is very close to agreeing on a deal.

Speaking at a press conference at the White House with Netanyahu, Trump called it a “very big” day and said they are near a peace agreement for Gaza.

Trump said the plan aims not only for peace in Gaza but also across the Middle East. He mentioned discussing important issues with Netanyahu, including Iran, the Abraham Accords, and ending the Gaza conflict. After consulting many regional leaders, Trump formally presented his principles for peace, which have received strong support.

He also thanked leaders of Arab and Muslim countries for helping prepare the proposal, emphasizing that Pakistan’s leaders have been involved from the start and fully support the agreement.
