Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Visit Pakistan Before Year-End

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is set to visit Pakistan before December 31, 2025, The exact dates of the visit are currently being finalized.

The Crown Prince accepted an invitation from Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, with a senior official from the Foreign Ministry confirming that the visit will take place before the year ends. During this trip, several important agreements between the two nations are expected to be signed.

Relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have significantly deepened in recent months, notably following the signing of a Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent visit to the Kingdom. This pact declares that “any aggression against either country shall be considered an aggression against both,” reinforcing their mutual security commitment.

“This agreement, which reflects the shared commitment of both nations to enhance their security and to achieving security and peace in the region and the world, aims to develop aspects of defense cooperation between the two countries and strengthen joint deterrence against any aggression. The agreement states that any aggression against either country shall be considered an aggression against both,” the joint statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office Media Wing said.

The statement also highlighted that this agreement builds upon the historic partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which has spanned nearly eight decades. The alliance is rooted in bonds of brotherhood, Islamic solidarity, shared strategic interests, and close defense cooperation.

This upcoming visit is expected to further solidify the longstanding relationship and strategic alliance between the two countries.
