Private Hajj 2025 application deadline nears: Half quota still empty

Private Hajj 2025 application deadline nears: Half quota still empty
The process of Private Hajj 2025 has once again slowed down, as the number of applications remains far below the total quota. By early October, only 29,909 applications have been received against the 60,000 quota. Out of these, around 21,659 were carried over from last year.
The deadline for booking under the Private Hajj scheme is October 17, 2025, but many Hajj organizers have not yet filled even half of their allocated slots.
Meanwhile, the second installment of government Hajj fees, set at PKR 650,000 per person, will be collected from November 3 to 10, 2025. Pilgrims applying under the private scheme must finish their bookings and payments before the October 17 deadline to confirm their place.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs also confirmed that 22,097 applicants who registered in 2024 but could not perform Hajj have been given priority this year.
Key conditions for Private Hajj 2025:
A valid Pakistani passport with at least one-year validity after Hajj dates is required.
Children born after March 1, 2014, are not eligible.
All pilgrims must follow Saudi vaccination requirements.
The Ministry has urged applicants to complete their bookings as soon as possible. Hajj organizers are also working to ensure the remaining quota is filled before the final deadline.
