Mohsin Naqvi Discusses Pakistan-UK Relations with Lord Shafique

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with British Parliamentary member Lord Shafique Muhammad on Saturday.

The meeting discussed the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and the UK, as well as matters of mutual interest.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that Pakistan highly values the long-standing relationship between the two countries.

He further added that the Pakistani community plays a significant role in the progress of both nations.

Additionally, he stated that it is Pakistan’s core responsibility to bring back Pakistanis involved in criminal activities. However, it is not the responsibility to bring back Pakistanis who have renounced their citizenship, according to the Interior Minister.

Lord Shafique Muhammad assured that he will play a role in strengthening relations between the two countries.
