PESHAWAR: In a major political development, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is expected to issue a formal notification today for an emergency session of the provincial assembly, reliable sources confirmed on Friday.

According to insiders, the decision to convene the KP Assembly session was made during a high-level consultative meeting held at the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar. The meeting was attended by senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders, legal advisors, and members of the provincial cabinet.
