Pakistan Will Not Tolerate Supporters of Terrorism: Atta Tara

Lahore: Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar, during a media talk in Lahore, paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation. He said that every day, the brave sons of Pakistan give their lives to protect the country.

Tarar praised the Pakistan Army, saying it has made great sacrifices and defeated terrorism. He stated that the entire nation stands with the armed forces and remembers the sacrifices of soldiers, including those of young children.

Referring to the Khuzdar bus attack and the APS Peshawar tragedy, he said the loss of innocent lives cannot be forgotten. “Every segment of society has played a key role in the fight against terrorism,” he added.

He criticized a political party — referring to PTI — for allegedly supporting terrorists on all platforms. He claimed the party has no concern for national security and only cares about returning to power.

Tarar also said some elements are blocking peace efforts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and that the newly nominated Chief Minister is facing drug-related cases. He further accused PTI’s founder of going silent when India challenged Pakistan.

He made it clear that the state will not allow anyone to support terrorists and has decided to defeat terrorism once and for all. “We will not rest until the last terrorist is eliminated,” he said.
