In response to unprovoked cross-border aggression, the Pakistan Army launched a series of precise retaliatory strikes on Sunday, targeting Afghan Taliban positions across various sectors along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
As per the reports, the Pakistan Army destroyed numerous Taliban checkposts and took control of at least 19 positions in a decisive military response. State-run PTV News and Radio Pakistan shared videos of the strikes, which quickly went viral on social media, showing Afghan Taliban positions being hit and destroyed with precision.
Security sources confirmed that successful strikes were carried out in Doran Mela, Turkmanzai, and Kharlachi in Kurram District, Leoband in Killa Abdullah, and areas of Kunar Province across from Bajaur, inflicting substantial losses on both Taliban and Khawarij elements.

Kurram:
The Army reportedly destroyed the Shpola Hila post, damaging Taliban tanks stationed on elevated ground. Several armored vehicles belonging to the Taliban were also destroyed in the attack.Chaman Border:
Militants attempting to flee were engaged and neutralized, resulting in heavy casualties among Afghan Taliban and Khawarij operatives.Bahrām Chāh:
Pakistani forces struck an Afghan Taliban battalion allegedly supporting Khawarij and “Fitna al-Hindustan” elements for cross-border terrorism. Significant losses in both personnel and equipment were reported.Angur Ada:
The Taliban’s Second Battalion Headquarters was destroyed, and Pakistani troops raised the national flag over captured enemy positions. Dozens of militants were reported killed.Zhob Sector:
A key Taliban post was taken over, and an armored vehicle stationed at the site was destroyed.Chitral:
Strikes completely flattened Taliban posts, forcing insurgents to abandon their positions.Durrani Camps 1 & 2:
These major Taliban strongholds used for planning attacks were struck successfully. The operations resulted in dozens of fatalities among Taliban and Khawarij members.Noshki & Manujba Sectors:
Entire compounds, including Ghazanali HQ, Manujba Battalion HQ, and Manujba Camp-2, were destroyed in precision operations.South Waziristan:
Multiple posts were neutralized, and Pakistani forces raised the national flag over several captured Taliban positions, with videos online showing abandoned outposts filled with weapons and uniforms.
One of the most striking developments was the surrender of an Afghan Taliban soldier, as confirmed by security sources. Footage shows him laying down arms at a seized post, while others reportedly fled, leaving behind equipment.
The military’s action came in direct response to repeated hostile acts from the Afghan side of the border. “Pakistan’s security officials said the retaliatory response was ‘measured but decisive,’ ensuring that cross-border terrorism would not go unanswered.”
