Funeral Prayers Offered for 12 Pakistan Army Martyrs Who Defended the Motherland against Afghan Regime
The funeral prayers (Namaz-e-Janaza) for twelve valiant soldiers of the Pakistan Army, who embraced martyrdom while defending the motherland against unprovoked and cowardly aggression by the Afghan regime, were offered today at Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi.
The solemn ceremony was attended by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff, along with federal ministers, the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, senior civil and military officials, and members of the public. The gathering reflected the nation’s grief, pride, and unwavering solidarity with the families of the Shuhada.
Defence Minister Pays Tribute
Addressing the occasion, the Defence Minister strongly condemned the hostile act, stating: “The people of Pakistan are indebted to the ultimate sacrifice of these heroes who laid down their lives while defending the territorial integrity of Pakistan against the cowardly and treacherous aggression of the Taliban regime and Indian-sponsored terrorist proxies operating from Afghan soil.”
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s national resolve: “The Armed Forces of Pakistan remain resolute to thwart any aggression or conspiracy against Pakistan, with the full support of the nation.”

The martyrs will be laid to rest in their respective hometowns with full military honors. Across Pakistan, tributes continue to pour in, as citizens pledge unwavering support to the armed forces and families of the Shuhada.
