Security Forces Kill 6 Khawarij in North Waziristan

Security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, resulting in the killing of six Khawarij terrorists, security sources confirmed.

The operation took place in the Tingkuli area of Datta Khel, where security forces had received credible intelligence reports about the movement of terrorists on the outskirts of the region. In response to this information, the forces carried out intensive surveillance for 8 to 10 days to monitor the area closely.

On October 16, security forces surrounded the terrorists, leading to an exchange of fire. During the operation, six terrorists were killed and three others were injured. Among the deceased was Mahboob, also known as Muhammad, the commander of the terrorist group Fitna al-Kharij.

This operation forms part of ongoing efforts by security forces to eliminate elements hostile to peace and stability in the region. Security sources emphasized that both the people and the forces remain committed to eradicating terrorism from the country.

In recent days, a total of 94 Khawarij terrorists, believed to be supported by the Afghan Taliban, have been neutralized in similar operations across the region.

Under the National Action Plan, continuous and widespread operations are being conducted by security forces and local communities alike to ensure lasting peace and security. The authorities remain resolute in their mission to protect the country from terrorism, God willing.
