Security forces killed 2 Khawarij, including ringleaders Tariq and Hakimullah, in Bannu operation

Security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in the Mughalkot sector of Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During the action, two militants belonging to the Khawarij group, including their top commanders Tariq Kachhi and Hakimullah alias Tiger, were killed.

According to security sources, the operation specifically targeted the militant network of the notorious Tariq Kachhi group. This group had been active for nearly two years, involved in multiple terror attacks and criminal activities.

The militant commander Tariq Kachhi and his associate Hakimullah, known as Tiger, were eliminated in the operation. Both were considered high-value targets due to their role in coordinating attacks and aiding infiltration from across the border.

Security personnel recovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition from the site. Sources confirmed that the group was heavily armed and planning further attacks in the region.

The Tariq Kachhi group was not only involved in terrorism but also in extortion activities. They reportedly collected money on behalf of the Khawarij-linked Taliban factions. Moreover, the group facilitated the movement of militants from Afghanistan into Pakistan, posing a serious threat to national security.

Officials stated that security forces remain committed to eliminating all threats. More intelligence-based operations will continue to ensure peace and stability in the region.
