17 Illegal Afghan Nationals Arrested in Islamabad's Bari Imam Area
Islamabad: Police conducted an operation in the Bari Imam area of the federal capital after receiving reports about the presence of illegally residing Afghan nationals.
According to the police spokesperson, 17 Afghan citizens were arrested during the operation. Some of the individuals tried to resist the arrest, but police, with the help of additional forces, managed to control the situation effectively.
Authorities confirmed that none of the arrested individuals had valid travel or residence documents. After completing the necessary legal procedures, they will be deported from Pakistan.
Police officials stated that the crackdown against illegal residents in Islamabad will continue.
