NADRA introduces online arms licence renewal service via Pak ID app
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has made it easier for citizens to renew their arms licences from home.
According to a post shared by NADRA, the renewal process for arms licences issued by the federal and Punjab governments can now be done completely online. Citizens just need to download the Pak ID Mobile App and submit their renewal application through it.
To make sure their contact details are updated, users can go to the profile settings in the app and use the mobile edit option to change their phone number. After entering the new number, an OTP (one-time password) will be sent for verification. Once confirmed, the number will be updated successfully.
The same process can also be used to update an email address.
By linking an active mobile number to their NADRA profile, citizens can receive instant updates about their CNIC, family registration, and other NADRA services.
This new feature allows people to renew their arms licences conveniently without visiting NADRA offices, saving both time and effort.
