Pakistani High-Level Delegation to Visit Kabul to Talk Trade, Borders
A high-level Pakistani delegation will visit Kabul today. The delegation will talk with Afghan officials about bilateral trade and border issues.
The visit will focus on improving border management and enhancing trade cooperation between the two countries. There will also be detailed discussions about the “One Document” system.
According to diplomatic sources in Islamabad, this visit was planned earlier and is not related to the recent closure of the Torkham border or current tensions.
The Pakistani delegation will meet with several Afghan officials separately. The meetings will include talks about building mutual trust and increasing cooperation.
Both sides will also discuss ways to make border movement more efficient.
Sources say this visit is an important step toward stability in Pakistan-Afghanistan relations.
