Government announces official date for PM Youth Free Laptop Scheme
The Prime Minister’s Youth Program has officially announced that its much-awaited laptop distribution drive will begin on October 30, 2025, in Islamabad, marking the start of a nationwide rollout to support and empower students across Pakistan.
Announcing the news on social media, the program stated, “The wait’s almost over. Get ready for the grand distribution, starting on 30th October, 2025, in Islamabad. Stay tuned as we come to your region next!” The post quickly went viral as thousands of registered students had been waiting for updates about the new phase of the initiative.
Under the PM’s Youth Laptop Scheme, the government aims to promote digital literacy and expand access to technology for university and college students. By distributing laptops, the program hopes to enhance online learning, research, and innovation among Pakistan’s youth.
After the Islamabad ceremony, the distribution will continue in universities and colleges across the country. Officials said that the complete schedule and regional plan will be announced soon, so institutions can prepare for their respective events.
