ATC Orders Confiscation of Aleema Khan’s CNIC and Passport Over Non-Appearance in PTI Protest Case
RAWALPINDI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Rawalpindi on Friday directed the authorities to seize the computerised national identity card (CNIC) and passport of Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, after she repeatedly failed to appear before the court in the November 26 PTI protest case.
The order was issued by ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah during the hearing of cases stemming from FIRs registered against Aleema Khan and other individuals linked to the PTI demonstration held on November 26 last year.
