Pakistan Navy Strengthens Coastal Defense with New Hovercrafts
ISLAMABAD — Chief of the Pakistan Navy, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, visited the Karak to Jiwani area to review military readiness and operational capabilities. He emphasized that the Navy is fully capable of defending Pakistan’s sovereignty and maritime borders.
During the visit, three new units of advanced 2400 TD hovercrafts were officially inducted into the Pakistan Marines. These hovercrafts can operate on both land and water simultaneously, enhancing the Navy’s operational versatility.

Admiral Ashraf stated that the addition of these platforms is part of the Navy’s vision to modernize its capabilities and reaffirm Pakistan’s commitment to maritime and coastal defense. He added that the Navy’s defensive strength, from the coast to the sea, remains strong and resilient.
