He also worked as a teacher at the Abdullah Ibn Zubair seminary in Kabul and was previously employed in medical supply delivery in Nangarhar.
Sattoray revealed that a man named Asim invited him to join TTP and introduced him to TTP commander Qari Muhammad in Kabul. He pledged allegiance to the commander and officially joined the terrorist organization.
After traveling to Peshawar for medical treatment, Storey said Qari Muhammad instructed him to enroll in a local madrassa and later plan attacks on law enforcement agencies.
The commander also allegedly ordered him to target a religious scholar in a planned target killing operation. However, Storey was arrested before carrying out the attack.
Authorities say the confession further exposes the cross-border links of Afghan militants and their involvement in destabilizing activities inside Pakistan.
