Captain among six soldiers martyred, seven terrorists killed in KP’s Kurram Operation
ISPR — Rawalpindi, 29 October 2025: Pakistan’s Security Forces carried out a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Dogar area of Kurram District, targeting militants linked to the Indian proxy group “Fitna al Khwarij.”
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), seven Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed during the intense exchange of fire. The operation was based on confirmed intelligence about the presence of these militants in the region.
During the heavy gun battle, Captain Noman Saleem, aged 24, a brave Medical Officer from Mianwali, fought valiantly while providing medical support to his fellow soldiers. He embraced shahadat alongside five other heroes of the Pakistan Army.
The martyred soldiers include:
- Havildar Amjad Ali (39), resident of District Swabi
- Naik Waqas Ahmad (36), resident of District Rawalpindi
- Sepoy Aijaz Ali (23), resident of District Shikarpur
- Sepoy Muhammad Waleed (23), resident of District Jhelum
- Sepoy Muhammad Shahbaz (32), resident of District Khairpur
ISPR said a sanitization operation is underway to clear the area of any remaining terrorists. The statement reaffirmed that Pakistan’s relentless counter-terrorism campaign under “Azm-e-Istehkam” — approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan — will continue until the complete elimination of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
The nation paid glowing tributes to Captain Noman and his men for their supreme sacrifice and unmatched courage. Their blood, ISPR noted, strengthens Pakistan’s resolve to defeat every enemy plot and ensure peace and stability across the country.
