Mufti Tayyab Qureshi Strongly Responds to KP CM Sohail Afridi’s Statement
Mufti Tayyab Qureshi has criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi for making an “inappropriate” statement about mosques and the military.
He said the security forces have made immense sacrifices to maintain the safety and stability of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “Our army and police stood guard when daily attacks and bombings targeted our mosques,” Mufti Qureshi added.
He stressed that the Chief Minister should be careful with his words, as the army and police are the primary defenders of the country’s mosques and people.
Mufti Qureshi highlighted the need for unity in Pakistan, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. “Only by showing solidarity can Pakistan become stronger both economically and militarily,” he said.
He also warned of external threats, stating that enemies are active after the success of Bunyad-al-Mursous against India. “We can protect Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the whole country only if we remain united,” he concluded.
