We Will Build a Prosperous and United Pakistan by Following Allama Iqbal’s Principles: President

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has said that Pakistan will become prosperous and united by following the principles of Allama Iqbal.

In his message on the birth anniversary of Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal — the Poet of the East and thinker of Pakistan — President Zardari paid rich tribute to Iqbal’s services.

He said that Allama Iqbal’s vision awakened the spirit of freedom among Muslims and guided them toward the creation of an independent state.

According to the President, Iqbal’s thoughts not only made Muslims aware of their rights but also paved the way for the establishment of Pakistan. His message inspired the Muslims of the subcontinent to struggle for a separate homeland and made them realize the true value of freedom.

President Zardari added that Iqbal’s philosophy emphasized Islamic values and spiritual revival, which still serve as a guiding light for Muslims today. Iqbal’s poetry, he said, highlighted both political freedom and inner spiritual strength.

He further said that Iqbal’s vision remains a beacon of hope for the youth, and by understanding his teachings, the nation can shape a brighter future.

Concluding his message, President Zardari stated, “By following Allama Iqbal’s principles, we will build a prosperous and united Pakistan that truly reflects his intellectual legacy.”
