Pakistan Railways announces new train timings from November 10

10 November, 2025 16:54

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways has temporarily suspended its winter timetable for trains due to engineering work and signaling issues, which have caused frequent delays.

For the first time in history, trains will now operate on summer timings during the winter season. The previous summer timetable (April 15 to October 14, 2025) will be reinstated starting November 10, 2025.

Reports say that trains already facing hours-long delays will now follow the summer schedule. For example, Lahore-Karachi journeys may exceed 24 hours due to track restrictions.

A Pakistan Railways spokesperson said this measure is temporary, and normal operations will resume once the engineering and signaling issues are resolved. Passengers are advised to confirm train schedules before departure to avoid inconvenience.
