Who is Sajidullah Alias Sheena? TTP Handler Arrested in Islamabad Attack Case
In a major counter-terrorism operation, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Division and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested four members of the TTP/Fitna al-Khawarij (FAK) terrorist cell. The group was responsible for the suicide attack at the Judicial Complex G-11, Islamabad.
Among the arrested was Sajidullah alias Sheena, identified as the handler of the suicide bomber. During interrogation, he revealed that the operation was directed by TTP/FAK Commander Saeed-ur-Rehman alias Daadullah, who resides in Charmang, Bajaur, Afghanistan, and serves as TTP’s Intelligence Chief for Nawagai, Bajaur.
Sajidullah confessed that Daadullah contacted him via Telegram to organize the attack in Islamabad with the goal of causing maximum casualties among law enforcement agencies (LEAs).
Who is Sajidullah Alias Sheena? Suicide Bomber Details
The bomber, Usman alias Qari, belonged to the Shinwari tribe and was a resident of Achin, Nangarhar, Afghanistan. He was brought to Pakistan by Sajidullah, who arranged his stay near Islamabad. On Daadullah’s orders, Sajidullah collected the suicide jacket from Akhun Baba graveyard in Peshawar and set it on Usman on the day of the attack.
The entire operation was planned and guided by the TTP/FAK high command in Afghanistan. Alongside Sajidullah, the network’s commander and three other members were arrested. Authorities say investigations are ongoing, and more arrests are expected as details of the terror network emerge.
