Senior PPP Leader Lal Bakhsh Bhutto Passes Away
Senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Lal Bakhsh Bhutto has passed away. According to party sources, he had been undergoing treatment at a local hospital. Lal Bakhsh Bhutto had previously served as a provincial minister and member of the Sindh Assembly.
He was the father of PPP leader Nadeem Bhutto.
PPP leadership and party members have expressed deep sorrow over his death and extended condolences to the grieving family.
President Asif Ali Zardari also expressed grief over the passing of Lal Bakhsh Bhutto, acknowledging his long political struggle and services to the people.
President Zardari said that Lal Bakhsh Bhutto’s contributions to democracy and public welfare will always be remembered with respect. He termed the death a loss not only for the PPP but for the entire nation. He also prayed for the departed soul and for strength for the bereaved family.
