The Sindh government announced a new Pink Bus route in Karachi on 17 November 2025, aiming to enhance safe and convenient travel for female commuters. “For females who commute daily, it seems like a great solution,” the authorities stated. The women-only bus will operate between Abdullah Chowk and Numaish, providing a reliable transport option across the city.

The Karachi Pink Bus will run in three fixed time slots to cater to morning, afternoon, and evening travelers:

• First trip: 08:00 AM – 09:00 AM
• Second trip: 01:00 PM – 02:00 PM
• Third trip: 05:00 PM – 07:00 PM

This schedule is specifically designed to match peak office hours and school timings, allowing commuters to plan their day around the bus schedule.

Karachi Pink Bus New Route Ticket Price

The fare for the new route is Rs 50 per ride, while children under five can travel for free. Tickets can be purchased directly on board. Equipped with GPS tracking and trained staff for security, the buses aim to provide a safe and comfortable commute for women.
