Security Forces Eliminate Seven Indian-Backed Khawarij in Major Counterterror Operations
Security Forces Foil Suicide Attack in Mir Ali, 4 Militants Killed
Security forces carried out a series of successful intelligence-based operations on 18 and 19 November 2025, eliminating seven terrorists linked to the Indian-sponsored proxy network Fitna Al-Khawarij in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to official reports, the first operation took place in Mohmand District after the presence of Khawarij militants was confirmed. Security forces launched a swift intelligence-based action and engaged the militants. After an intense exchange of fire, four terrorists were killed on the spot.
A second operation was conducted in Lakki Marwat District, where two more Indian-backed Khawarij were neutralized during a brief but effective gunfight.
In the third encounter in Tank District, security forces killed another terrorist, bringing the total to seven militants eliminated across the province in two days.
Authorities said sanitization operations are still underway to clear the areas and hunt any remaining militants. The operations form part of Pakistan’s ongoing counterterrorism campaign, “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan.
Security forces reaffirmed their commitment to continuing operations at full pace to eliminate all foreign-sponsored terrorism and restore lasting peace in the country.
