No Candidates Until Election Schedule Announced: JI Chief

Lahore: Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer, has said that we will not have any candidate until the national election scheduled is publicly announced.

The JI chief, addressing the final day of a public gathering titled “Change the system” that has been organized under the auspices of JI at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore, remarked that there is a crisis of discipline in Pakistan’s parties; whatever happens in our party will happen under the system.

He additionally added that what is being done to please US president Donald Trump is very wrong; we have done ourselves great harm by becoming slaves to America. The rulers of Pakistan should support Palestine and take the entire nation along with them.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman claimed that until the national election schedule is announced in the country, there is no JI candidate; we are the people who will take the entire nation along and are not going to make the provinces confront each other.
