The Director General of Health Sindh emphasized, “Citizens should maintain hygiene, eliminate stagnant water, avoid mosquito-prone areas, and seek medical help for fever, headache, or joint pain.”
Authorities are urging the public to adopt simple preventive steps to curb the spread of dengue:
- Maintain cleanliness around homes and public spaces.
- Remove standing water to prevent mosquito breeding.
- Avoid areas with high mosquito activity.
- Seek immediate medical attention if symptoms appear.
With the dengue season intensifying, timely precautions and early medical consultation remain crucial in controlling the outbreak in Sindh.
