NADRA Warns Citizens Against Fake Website Impersonating Authority

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued a warning to citizens about a fraudulent website impersonating the authority.

In a social media message, NADRA stated that idcardtracking.online is a fake website. The authority advised citizens, particularly overseas Pakistanis, not to engage with agents or third-party service providers for identity-related services. “To avoid fraud, individuals should use only the official Pak-ID mobile application for identification services,” NADRA added.

The agency has submitted a complaint to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency for further investigation. NADRA also cautioned that the website operating under the name “NADRA Card Centre” has no affiliation with the authority and is deceiving expatriates through fraudulent activities.

The spokesperson emphasized that any service claiming to offer ID cards, NICOP processing, or employment opportunities under NADRA’s name should be considered fake. “Any personal information, documents, or payments shared through such platforms may be misused,” the spokesperson warned.

Separately, NADRA reminded parents to update their children’s B-Forms. The authority explained that once a child reaches the age of three, the previously issued B-Form expires, and a photo B-Form is required for official records. Parents can obtain a new B-Form by visiting a NADRA office with their child or conveniently applying through the Pak-ID mobile application.
