Pakistan, Egypt Hold Delegation-Level Talks, Condemn Terror Attacks

Islamabad: Pakistan and Egypt conducted delegation-level discussions to promote bilateral cooperation in a variety of sectors.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar welcomed the Egyptian Foreign Minister’s visit, stating that bilateral relations are improving in areas such as economics, defense, and others. He hoped that the visit would help them make progress toward their mutual aims.
Dar noted that Pakistan and Egypt have a long history of partnership and brotherhood, and that both nations share responsibilities for improving cooperation in trade, security, and defense.
Egypt’s Foreign Minister complimented Pakistan for its gracious hospitality. He strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan and expressed grief over the loss of life, sending his sympathies to the Pakistani people.
