Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto lands in Pakistan for two-day visit

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto arrived in Pakistan on Monday for a two-day official visit.

He was warmly welcomed at the airport by President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. A ceremony was also held, which included the playing of Indonesia’s national anthem.

During his visit, President Prabowo will hold high-level talks with President Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Field Marshal Asim Munir.

According to the Foreign Office, discussions are expected to focus on trade, investment, and defense cooperation. Talks will also cover collaboration in areas such as health, education, environment, and culture.

Several bilateral memorandums of understanding (MoUs) are likely to be signed during the visit to strengthen ties between Pakistan and Indonesia.
