Barrister Gohar Warns of Chaos if ‘Minus One’ Occurs, Says Situations Will Be Out of Control

Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Barrister Gohar, issued a strong warning on the potential consequences of a ‘minus one’ scenario, stating, If minus one happens, no one will remain, and situations will be out of your control.

Speaking to the media outside Parliament House, Barrister Gohar emphasized that political situations are not like business calculations, where removing one from two still leaves one remaining. This is not the business world that if you subtract one from two, one will still remain, he added.

He also criticized the restrictions on meetings with former Prime Minister Imran Khan, pointing out that those attempting to meet him are met with water cannons. If he had been allowed to sit for two hours, think about the loss it could have caused to the country and the nation, he remarked.

Addressing claims that meetings are being blocked due to Khan’s tweets, Barrister Gohar questioned, You are making excuses that meetings are not happening because of Khan’s tweet. Is Bushra Bibi’s family holding press conferences? Why aren’t their meetings being arranged?

He further highlighted recent political developments, noting that a resolution was passed in the provincial assembly the previous day. Barrister Gohar accused the authorities of attempting to pit units of the federation against each other.
