Talal Chaudhry Claims Politics Is Over for Those Who Cross Red Lines

13 December, 2025 10:33

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has said that many important decisions of the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf were made under the advice of former DG ISI Faiz Hameed, while there is no place left in politics for those who cross national boundaries.

Speaking on a private TV channel program, Talal Chaudhry said that the PML-N also faced periods of dictatorship and also tolerated a so-called political dictatorship.

He said that attempts were made to pin the party to the wall repeatedly, but the people always trusted the PML-N based on its performance, and the development of Punjab is a clear example of this.

He said that former senior officer Faiz Hameed is facing punishment for crossing national borders.

Talal Chaudhry raised the question: Can links with India, strengthening the enemy’s narrative, and events like May 9 be worthy of a democratic political party? The politics of those who take such steps has come to an end, while the priority of the current government is the welfare of the people and the complete elimination of terrorism.

The Minister of State said that accountability of the elements who harmed the country is inevitable. Many incidents that occurred after the fall of the government were also the result of Faiz Hameed’s advice, and the world is aware of the close relationship between the founder of PTI and Faiz Hameed.

He claimed that only the PTI benefited from the decisions, while the people and the state suffered the losses.

Talal Chaudhry said that state institutions are holding themselves accountable at their own level, while the judiciary and political parties must also follow the same path. People who harm the country cannot be allowed to engage in political activities.
