Extended Winter Vacations Announced for Schools – Check Details

The district administration of Murree has announced extended winter vacations for schools and colleges in the hilly areas, according to a notification from the Punjab Education Department.

The notification, issued by the Chief Executive Officer of the District Education Authority Murree, states that winter vacations will be observed in Murree and Kotli Sattian from December 22 to March 7 due to severe weather conditions. All public and private schools and colleges in these areas will reopen on March 9.

School heads have been directed to complete midterm examinations before the start of the winter break. Institutions are also instructed to announce exam results prior to the closure.

Authorities said the extended break is intended to ensure the safety of students and staff during harsh winter conditions in the mountainous regions.
