PTI Suffers Another Blow as Veteran Leader Qazi Anwar Advocate Steps Down

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has lost another prominent and seasoned leader.

Qazi Anwar Advocate, a senior party leader, announced his resignation, claiming that the PTI’s founding ideals and manifesto are no longer being upheld.

He claimed that he was severely distressed and humiliated by the party’s current leadership.

“I have suffered immense psychological pressure within the party,” Qazi Anwar said. “His self-respect has been compromised,” Qazi Anwar added.

It is noteworthy that the Tehsil Samahni President in Azad Kashmir similarly declared his resignation from the PTI a few days prior in response to remarks made by party leaders disparaging state institutions.

He claimed that national boundaries are guarded by state institutions and that he could not continue to be a member of a party that opposes them.
