PTI Founder’s Sons Hope to Visit Pakistan Despite Political Tensions

The sons of PTI founder Imran Khan have announced their arrival in Pakistan.

Imran Khan’s son Qasim Khan said in an interview with British broadcaster Sky News that he and his brother Suleman have applied for their visas and that they are both planning to visit Pakistan in January.

IK’s son Qasim and Suleman were asked if they had tried to talk to the Pakistani government to get permission to meet PTI founder, while a few months ago, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif had said that they could come and meet Imran Khan. To this, Qasim replied that he had said it openly. So as long as he stands by his word, we hope to go in January.

When asked what he would say to PTI founder Imran Khan upon seeing him and whether he would ask him to consider “some deal,” Qasim said, “What you should understand is his life; Imran Khan calls it his life’s purpose to rid Pakistan of corruption.”

Qasim added that if he came to us now with a deal and stayed in England, I know he would feel pain that he had left his country to be ruined. I know he would go into depression.
