Ideological Freedom Just a Slogan in India: Khawaja Asif

Islamabad: Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that ideological freedom has become just a slogan in India.

According to details, Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, in a statement issued on social media platform X, has expressed serious concern over religious intolerance and growing attitudes against minorities in India.

They say that so-called liberalism in India has been exposed and the ground realities are the opposite.

Khawaja Asif said that under the Hindutva ideology, the lives of minorities in India have become miserable, and discrimination on religious grounds has reached its peak.

He clarified that ideological freedom in India has become a mere slogan, while in practice the fundamental rights of minorities are under threat.

According to the Federal Defense Minister, the problems faced by minorities under the shadow of Hindutva are a question mark for the global conscience.

He stressed that the international community should take serious note of religious intolerance and discrimination in India.
