Growing Trust and Cooperation in Pakistan,Russia Bilateral Relations Is a Positive Development for the Region: Russian Ambassador

Islamabad: Russian Ambassador Albert Khorev addressed students undergoing training at the Pakistan Foreign Service Academy, where he briefed future Pakistani diplomats on various phases of Pakistan,Russia relations, the evolution of bilateral dialogue, and recent developments between the two countries.

During his address, Ambassador Albert Khorev highlighted that Pakistan and Russia have achieved notable successes in the fields of political and economic cooperation. He emphasized that there is significant potential to further strengthen bilateral ties and enhance mutual engagement. The ambassador described the growing trust and cooperation between the two countries as a positive development for the region.

The Russian envoy also shed light on the current situation in Ukraine and the surrounding region. He explained the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis and focused on what he termed the destructive role of Western countries in creating instability in the Eurasian region. Through this discussion, he aimed to familiarize students with the complex dynamics of contemporary global politics.

At the conclusion of his address, Ambassador Khorev expressed his best wishes for the future Pakistani diplomats and voiced confidence that they would perform their professional responsibilities with integrity, foresight, and a strong commitment to safeguarding national interests.

On the occasion, Director General of the Pakistan Foreign Service Academy, Syed Ali Asad Gilani, was also present. Following the session, the Russian Ambassador, along with the Director General, planted a sapling in the academy’s, symbolizing friendship, cooperation, and the prospect of stronger Pakistan,Russia relations in the future.
