President Zardari Pays Tribute at Imam Hussain (AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS) Shrines

President Asif Zardari visited Karbala and paid homage to the shrines of Imam Hussain (AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS). He was accompanied by the governor of Karbala, Dr. Nasif Jassim Al-Khattabi.

President Zardari recited Fateha and offered nawafil prayers at both places and described the sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) as an eternal symbol of truth, justice, and steadfastness.

He also offered special prayers for the peace, unity, and security of the Muslim Ummah.

The President, while meeting with the administrators and preachers of the shrines, stressed the importance of the maintenance and services of the shrine.
