Punjab Government Announces Performance Allowance for Teachers

The Punjab government has decided to give performance allowance to teachers.

Educators  of primary, elementary, high, and higher secondary schools will be given teachers allowance of Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 15,500 for good performance.

Primary school Educators will receive an allowance of 5,000 for good performance, elementary school teachers will receive 7,500, and high school teachers will receive 10,000. Higher secondary school teachers will receive an stipend of 12,500.

The Education Department maintains that it decided to provide stipends to encourage Educators who perform well and that the teachers stipends will also improve the results of schools.
