Karachi Marathon 2026: Route, Timings, Prizes, and Results Details

Thousands of runners will hit the streets of Karachi this Sunday for the Karachi Marathon 2026. The event will turn the city’s beautiful coastline into a large running track. From professional athletes to families, people of all ages will take part in this exciting race.

Date and Timing

The Karachi Marathon 2026 will take place on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
Runners in the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and Relay must reach Nishan-e-Pakistan, Sea View, by 5:00 AM. These races will start at 6:30 AM.
Participants in the 5K Fun Run and Family Pack should report by 9:00 AM, with the race starting at 10:00 AM.

Route Details

The marathon route is flat and scenic, making it ideal for runners aiming for good timings. The race starts at Nishan-e-Pakistan, goes along Sea View Road towards the Clock Tower, then passes through Abdul Sattar Edhi Avenue, Emaar, and Do Darya Road.

Full marathon runners will take a U-turn near the DHA Golf Club before returning to the finish line. The route is World Athletics Certified, which means it meets international standards.

Prize Money and Benefits

The final prize money for 2026 has not been officially confirmed yet, but organizers have promised attractive prizes. In previous years, winners of the full marathon have received prizes of up to Rs 500,000. All runners who complete the race will get a finisher medal, along with an official event T-shirt and a timing chip.

Registration and Results

Registration for the Karachi Marathon 2026 closed in late December 2025. The fee was Rs 5,500 for main races and Rs 3,000 for the 5K run. After the race, participants can check their results and timing certificates on the Intralaps website.
