Pakistan’s first floating restaurant set to open in 2026 – check date

Lahore is set to get its first floating restaurant on a canal connected to the Ravi River, with the project expected to be completed this year.

The restaurant will offer high-quality food, parking, and other facilities, making it a new recreational spot for residents and tourists.

• The restaurant will be three stories tall

• It will be located near Jallo Park

• It can serve over 200 diners at a time

Work is ongoing to deepen the canal and extract sand to prepare the site for construction.

Raja Mansoor Ahmed, Managing Director of the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), said the floating restaurant will:

• Serve as a new hub for leisure and tourism

• Enhance Lahore’s beauty

• Provide a unique dining experience for citizens

Officials are optimistic that the restaurant will be popular with the public and become a signature attraction of the city.
