BISP launches 2026 registration for payments, 8171 SMS update

ISLAMABAD: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has started its first dynamic survey for 2026 to register deserving families for financial assistance.

BISP was launched by the Government of Pakistan in July 2008. It is the country’s main cash support programme for poor and needy people. The programme helps low-income families by providing financial aid and support for a better life.

The main goal of BISP is to reduce poverty, improve the financial condition of poor families, and ensure fair distribution of wealth, especially for low-income groups. It also works on special programmes to support women, children, and vulnerable people.

Dynamic Survey 2026 Registration Process

According to a post shared by BISP on Facebook, the registration process is simple:

• Visit the dynamic registration desk at your nearest BISP office

• Provide your CNIC and B-Form of children to the staff

• Receive a token for the updated survey

• Go to the registration room when your turn comes

• The data entry operator will ask questions about your social and financial status

• After completing the form, give your thumb impression

• You will receive a confirmation message from 8171

After verification, eligible families will receive an eligibility SMS from 8171.

Important 8171 Update

After receiving the message from 8171, applicants should visit the BISP office on the given date. BISP has advised people to bring their electricity bill and mobile phone during registration to avoid any delay.
