NADRA introduces new facility for easy vehicle sale and purchase

NADRA introduces new facility for easy vehicle sale and purchase
ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has made it easier to buy and sell Sindh-registered vehicles by starting biometric verification through the Pak ID app.
This new step has been launched in cooperation with the Government of Sindh. It allows people to begin the vehicle ownership transfer process from home, without visiting offices again and again.
According to NADRA officials, both the buyer and seller can verify their identity using the Pak ID app. After biometric verification, the remaining transfer process can be completed with the Excise and Taxation Department.
Earlier, people had to follow a long process at the Excise office, where biometric verification was mandatory to stop fake documents and legal issues. The new system aims to make the process faster and safer.
Step-by-Step Process
Buyer and seller complete biometric verification through NADRA or an E-Sahulat Center
Both parties sign a sale agreement on stamp paper
Visit the Excise office in Karachi to get a token and submit the application
Submit all required documents with the form
Pay transfer fees and token tax online or at the office
Receive an official receipt after verification
A smart registration card is issued to the buyer within 5 to 15 working days
Required Documents
For Sellers:
Original registration book or smart card
CNIC copy
Signed application form
Sale agreement
Clearance certificate
Passport-size photograph
For Buyers:

Officials say this new facility will make vehicle transactions in Sindh easier, safer, and more legally secure.
