Sharjeel Memon welcomes KP CM Sohail Afridi’s visit to Karachi

KARACHI: Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has welcomed the visit of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi to Karachi. He said that the KP chief minister will be given full protocol and security during his stay in the city.

Talking to the media, Sharjeel Memon said that even though there are political differences, the KP chief minister is free to carry out his activities in Karachi within the Constitution and the law.

He assured that proper security arrangements will be made and said he expects the visit to remain peaceful and positive.

During his talk, Sharjeel Memon also criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He claimed that PTI’s founder had previously supported terrorists and that terrorists were released during PTI’s time in government. He further alleged that PTI has alliances in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that harm national institutions.

Memon also raised questions about PTI’s political role, asking “Apart from abusive language, what has PTI actually done for the country?”
