Karachi: Domestic Maids Steal Over 100 Tolas of Gold in Major Theft at Mohammad Ali Society

KARACHI, January 8, 2026: Karachi police have reported one of the biggest thefts of the year at Mohammad Ali Society. Two domestic workers allegedly stole more than 100 tolas of gold from a house, valued at over Rs 4.5 crore.

The police registered a case at Bahadurabad Police Station. According to reports, the workers had been hired just a day earlier. They were employed after the building’s security guard recommended them while on bail.

The domestic workers came to work in the morning and left the house at around 6 PM. Authorities are investigating the case and searching for the stolen gold.
