A Pakistan Navy (PN) flotilla, including the sail ship PNS RAH NAWARD, PNS MADADGAR, and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) vessel PMSS KASHMIR, recently visited Port Sultan Qaboos in Muscat, Oman. Upon arrival, the ships were warmly received by Omani officials.

During the visit, the Mission Commander and Commanding Officers held official meetings with Oman’s naval leadership. The delegation met Acting Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), DG Operations and Plans, Commander of the Maritime Security Centre, Commander of Said Bin Sultan Naval Base, and the Commandant of Sultan Qaboos Naval Academy.

Following the port call, PN and PMSA ships conducted a Passage Exercise with the Royal Oman Navy ship KHASAB. The exercise aimed to enhance interoperability, strengthen bilateral relations, and promote shared learning between the two navies.

As maritime neighbors, Pakistan and Oman maintain frequent naval engagements, including dignitary visits, port calls, and joint exercises, highlighting strong defense and maritime cooperation.
