Islamabad two M-TAG centers now open 24/7 - check location
ISLAMABAD: The Director General of Excise, Irfan Nawaz Memon, has announced that two M-TAG centres in Islamabad will now operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
This move is aimed at making it easier for vehicle owners to get an M-TAG and helping improve traffic flow on motorways and toll plazas. Authorities say it will provide greater convenience to the public.

The two centres offering round-the-clock services are located at:
26 No. Chungi
Satra Meel Phulgran Toll Plaza
Other M-TAG counters in Islamabad have also extended their hours. Counters at Kachnar Park (Sector I-8) and Sector F-9 Park will remain open until midnight to help more people register their vehicles.
M-TAG Deadline Ends
The deadline for vehicles entering Islamabad without an M-TAG ended on January 15.
Irfan Memon warned that strict action will be taken against non-compliant vehicles at city entry points.
So far, over 150,000 vehicles have been registered at 16 M-TAG centres in the city. Additionally, 12 entry points are now equipped with readers to detect vehicles without M-TAGs. Law enforcement agencies have already started taking action against violators.
This step is expected to ease traffic management and ensure all vehicles in Islamabad comply with the M-TAG system.
